Joe Murray

Again we see another first. No... George did not get another piercing! We have our first two time winner. The 2008 Hooties Hackers at the Hack Masters Golf Tournament Winner is Joe Murray.

Joe won the championship in the inaugural year and the pressure to repeat has driven Joe to the bottom of the Leader Board nearly every year since. In a recent interview Joe said " It's good to have this monkey off my back and I'm proud to display the Green Jacket once again in my study".

When asked about the distractions Joe replied "Oh yeah, the usual distractions were there. Dennis was relentless and brought with him this years catch phrase, "Man Up Bitch". How often do you think we heard that one? George had new ponderings about life and such. This year's big topic was "The dominat gene amoung races". That's enough to send even Tiger Woods uncontrollably weeping and shanking his irons off course. Despite all this, I felt a presence this year. It was as though the hand of Bobby Jones himself was guiding me around all the bull, keeping me focused and leading me to the finish".
